I smell a scam
Just got a mailing offering a free cruise. It read "To celebrate your birthday, you were verified and as a result of this offer your name and ticketing have been issued."
What a deal, I have been "verified", I wasn't sure if I existed until now. Reminds me of the SNL "Target Lady" skit where she runs a credit card and says "Congratulations, You've Been Approved!" as if the shopper was concerned. Also my name has been issued. I thought my parents did that on my original birthday.
I'm thinking about sending this on down to Miami. I'm not sure if Carnival would be interested in companies that might be giving them a bad name.
All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by; John Masefield
