Rent a Budget car from MCO, stay overnight wherever you want and drop it off at the Budget place right off the highway in Port Canaveral. They have a bus that will take you to the port just a few minutes away. Done it several times and it works great. Beats the Carnival shuttle and you have your freedom to explore.

Sorry you had to endure the Splendor fire. I was supposed to sail over New years that year but it was still out of service. The credit I received helped pay for the Dream cruise that next summer. Enjoy!

Dry dock already? I thought Dream was a new ship.
