"Oceania Club" Loyalty Program Expanded

Oceania adds a new level for beginners and adds new perks to the upper levels of the Oceania Club

Oceania Cruises is the best in the small "upscale" category of cruise lines. This is the category just below "luxury" where the ships are small, the itineraries are destination-focused and the food is far above average, but unlike luxury cruise lines (where the cruise fares are higher) beverages and gratuities are not included in the price of the cruise. Other cruise lines in the same category include Azamara and Windstar cruise lines.

Why do we say Oceania is the best? The line has two brand new state-of-the-art cruise ships, the Marina and the Riviera, which have all the opulence and amenities of luxury cruise ships, including some the most delicious food at sea, but which also maintain the value price structure and port-intensive itineraries of the "upscale" category. The older ships pf Oceania, and of the other cruise lines mentioned above average 12 to 20 years in age. They are nice ships, but are scarce on balcony staterooms, tend to be more crowded in the dining rooms and have fewer entertainment facilities.
