Default Re: Question About Tendering?

I did it while walking with the assistance of two canes. You'll have no trouble. The ship has a dropdown ramp/door that forms a platform at the right height for the gunwale of the tender. The stairway from the ship to the platform folds flat against the door when it is closed. Given that the tenders serviced several ships of several different sizes, the height of the platform above the waterline, and the height of the tenders' gunwales must be standardized. The tenders also had moveable stiles to reach the level of the gunwale. Just follow the instructions of the crewman at the door if you have any last minute nerves and you'll be fine.
