The evenings in the Caribbean usually are quite warm (low temperatures around 70 degrees Fahrenheit or 21 degrees Celsius). Although winter formalwear most certainly is proper, you might find it a bit warm. Consider wearing whatever you would wear to a formal wedding in July instead.
