We were on a land vacation this past summer, and went over to the Atlantis for dinner.

We had been there previously on a cruise, and had walked the grounds freely, including looking at the "free" tanks in the lower level of the lobby.

Well, after dinner, we went for a LONG stroll through the intricate maze of corridors. We ended up over near some villas; that whole are was beautiful. We made our way back along the "boardwalk", then through the main swimming area, and we found oursleves at the beach end of the dig. We walked through. No charge.

I felt like I was walkiing through the MONH, with all the different tanks of different sea creatures. We ended up exiting at that lower level entrance. Apparently, the dig is free at night, after all the "tourists" have left.

Would it have been worth the $29? Not sure. But I'm glad to have seen it.

Afterwards, we went over to the marina for ice cream, and then back to our lowly hotel on Cable Beach.
