We sailed on the Diamond to Alaska last year, and LOVED the ship. Alaska is beautiful and full of "adventure excursions". Some of the excursions are quite expensive, but if you can fit a couple into your budget, I wouldn't miss a heli tour glacier landing trip, and maybe the bear watching.
