If budget is no issue, I love the Sheraton Moana. (surfrider) THe historic building is best. This was the first hotel built in 1901 and it is magnificent and a great beach location not far from Diamond Head, International Marketplace, The Royal Hawaiian, parks, the zoo, etc. Plus this area is not as congested as some parts of Waikiki.

Keo's Thai Cuisine is an incredible Thai restaurant with lots of celebrities. We have been seated adjacent to Dolly Parton, Carol Burnett, and Richard Chamberlain while dining there on separate occasions. There is lots to do and see in Oahu. My favorite beach is Macapuu. It is across the highway from the sea life park. You can get there by bus for very little money and don't need to drive.

A great place for breakfast is "Eggs N' Things." They have the best breakfast I've ever had anywhere. The Halikalani Hotel has an amazing Sunday brunch right on the beach.
