It seems that Azamara is getting their shipboard operations under control. Reports are coming through that the refrigerators have been installed on the Journey, the butler service is more refined and food quality is more even.
I personally have noticed that their land side operations still are lacking. When you call their Customer Service lines you are still connected to Celebrity and then put on hold for Azamara and then you still end up with a Celebrity representative who hasn't been fully trained. They still have little or no idea about shore excursions, other than what is posted, visa information, or upgrade information. This is from my TA and also from my direct connections.
Hopefully they will work out their issues.
