GOOD NEWS FROM ALASKA

According to the latet issue of the local newspapers the residents of Ketchikan have voted down an iniative calling for a $5 per cruise ship passenger tax. If memory serves me, this sems to be the second time the residents have voted down a similar proposal.

Yes, this is good news. Juneau residents also voted against restricting flightseeing on the weekends.
