Default AAA Recomendations on What to See and Do in Alaska

The 2001 AAA Tour Book for Alaska rates the following as "GEM"s (highest raking) for Alaska:
Anchorage: Alaska Native Heritage Center and the Anchorage Museum of History and Art;
Denali: Denali National Park and Preserve
Fairbanks: Riverboat Discovery
Juneau: Alaska State Museum, Gastineau Salmon Hatchery, and Mendenhall Glacier
Seward: Kenai Fjords Tours
Sita: Sita National Historical Park
Skagway: White Pass & Yukon Railroad Route

These are the "norm". But there is so much more than what is listed in the AAA books. Better is to get each city's visitor guide, has a far more extensive selection of activites.
