Default celebrating 25th wedding anniversary

We're celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on the first day of the cruise. Is there any way I can get my husband and myself a piece of cake or something so we feel like it's a special day? Or should we celebrate before we cruise?

Congratulations!! Just tell your waitstaff and/or maitre'd and they will sing "Happy Anniversary" and have a cake for you. Some cruiselines charge a nominal fee. Check on your cruiseline website and you might be able to order it before you go. We have heard them sing Happy Birthday, Anniversary, Engagement and Retirement so I know it can be done. We just did the Diamond Princess for our 35th and they sang to us and presented us with a small chocolate mousse heart dessert with a candle. It made it seem special. Again, Congratulations.

Yes, congrats, California Girl. You can also go to the Cruise Personalizer on the Princess website. One section asks if you are celebrating any special occasion on your cruise. You can enter your anniversary date and choose the day of the cruise you'd like to celebrate. On that day, your wait staff will present you with a small cake and sing "Happy Anniversary" to you and your hubby. Your room steward will also decorate your cabin door with balloons. Again...congrats and enjoy!

Oh yes-take it from someone who has done this before. Let them know about it and they will do it up right. We had balloons on the door, cake, candles, singing waiters, the whole enchilada (this was on Princess, but I'm sure all cruise lines do similar things). It was great !

All you have to do is tell your travel agent. They can send something to you at your room. At dinner, tell your waiter/waitress and they will celebrate it with everyone else at your table. Their is always cake and deserts every day.

We've done birthday cruises and brought our own cake with no problems from the cruiseline when it was the first day of the cruise.

Congrats and enjoy!
