Default Old Renaissance small ships

Does anyone know what's become of the old 100-passenger Renaissance ships. We were on the Renaissance VII in 2001, and it was wonderful. I know that Renaissance V is now Cruise West's Spirit of Oceanus, but what about the rest of them?

Has anyone sailed the Spirit of Oceanus? If so, what were your impressions?

Princess uses one of the old Renaissance ships and Oceania Cruise Line uses two.

I don't know what happened to the others.

I saw two in Barcelona in late September. I don't know which ones they were, though; they were too far away to see with any detail.

Spirit of Oceanus looked old and tired and tried to be luxury - but did not pull it off with their laminate marble. Felt the ship was way overpriced for the accommodations, the service and the cuisine that offered.

I have found that I can take a SeaDream voyage and in the end spend less money and get a truly first rate voyage. I will not go back to Cruise West.

The 3 Princess ships & 2 Oceania ones were the larger (684 pax) Rennaisance ships.
Didn't Cruise West get a couple more of the smaller ones ? Spirit of Yorktown and Spirit of Endeavour though I may be mistaken.

Hebridean International defintely got one - Hebridean Spirit (Ren VI)

Sorry that's the only one's I know of.

Alan.

What a great memory this brings back. I sailed on the R 3 in Tahiti in July of 2000.

A co worker is thinking about going to Tahiti so I brought in my pictures and a few were of the R 3.
