I like to book ocean view cabins, but I've noticed that the outside of the windows are very filthy. I see employees working around the clock, buffing here, polishing there, vacuuming yonder, but what about the filthy cabin windows outside?
I've yet to see a clean cabin window (at least on Carnival).
When we were on the NCL Majesty last month, we noticed that the some of the outside windows were being cleaned by automatic window washers. I'm not sure if all windows had this feature.
Kinda dangerous to have crew on outside scaffolding.
When we were on Voyager of the Seas the window washer on the ship got an eye full from my daughter. The last thing we were expecting was to see a person going by outside and there he was and there she was all naturall.
Couldn't the windows be cleaned as passengers are getting off the ship, at the end of the cruise?
I can only speak of Carnival because I've only cruised with Carnival. I don't know how other cruise lines deal with their dirty windows, but having an automatic window washer sounds great.
