Default Cruise-related dreams

I know a lot of us daydream about cruising ...
But do any of you have dreams about cruising when you're sleeping?

I have two with recurring themes.
One is about packing.
I forget to pack something essential [usually shoes] or I am packing at the last minute and might miss the ship, or I am packing all the wrong stuff.

The other is about the cruise being almost over, and I haven't gone to the casino, seen a show, eaten in the dining room, visited a port ... etc. etc. and I can't figure out how the time passed so quickly!
[This is a riff on the recurring dream of taking an exam in a college class and wondering how I could have missed all the classes leading up to it!]

This is so wierd. Had a cruise dream last night. Started out I was on a ferry. Ship started to sink and I couldn't find my hubby. When I went looking for him, it turned into a monster size cruise ship and I ran around crazily. Woke up with a bang. I had literally fallen out of bed from tossing about so much! I feel like someone beat me up. Actually, the floor did!
But, usually I just dream about wandering around a cruise ship, probably because after all these years, that is still one of my favorite things to do. I just love being on the ship! However, after last night's slammin' nightmare, I may stay off of the huge ships...don't really like them anyway.

I definitely dream about cruising, but mine are always good dreams. On my really stressful days, I escape by thinking of cruising...and sometimes it carries over into my sleep.

Yes i dream about cruising all the time. Glad to hear more people do, I thought I was the only one obsessed! It usually just me and my DH and DD walking around the ship, nothing stressful.

But Fruitcake you talk about dreaming of forgeting to pack something essential....i didn't dream it...I DID IT this last cruise!!!! NOT A DREAM....

Keep in mind, I did all the packing for the family....We were on the NCL pearl cruising getting settled in our cabin and preparing for the next NINE days to be on the ship, i had just unpacked and put "Everything" away. layed on the bed with my DH and my mind started to unwind going over everything I had just put away when it hit me.

I shot up out of bed and said OH MY GOD! My husband said "What!" I kept saying, oh my god over and over (the boat has left dock at this point, no turning back). I searched everywhere, nope didn't find them....and I turned and looked at him and said, "I forgot all your slacks!" I was numb at this point feeling as though I was in a dream but wasn't. He kept saying, "Your jokin!" I said no, I forgot all your slacks!!" He said, "I feel like I'm in a dream, you're jokin...I'm in a dream!"

Then I remembered, well I did pack his suit. I was sooo obsessed about forgeting to pack his suit that i forgot all his slacks! The gift shop didn't have any slacks his size so he ended up wearing his dressy pants 2 nights in a row till we got to barbados then we bought one pair and said....Heck with it, no one will know! We ended up the last 4 nights going to the buffet in shorts and eating out side on deck under the stars instead of the fancy dinning room. Much more romantic AND relaxing IMO!

I've never had a dream about cruising. Now, I wonder if now that that thought is in my head that it will actually happen?
