Default What to do in Seward

Considering a side trip on the train from Anchorage to Seward a few days before we board our Princess cruise at Whittier. The train to Seward leaves at 6:45AM and doesn't return to Anchorage until late in the evening that same day. Is there enough to do/see in Seward for almost eight hours...seems like a long time to spend in Seward, especially if you are not taking a day cruise. What are best things to do/see in Seward?
