Every cruise we've been on has had at leastone "singles" get together and many have more. They are usually for adults (not 18-20 yr olds ).
Another good idea is to join the "Roll Call" for your sailing. You may find people there who are sailing with "available" family!

My advice is book a singles cruise, with a singles company. I have cruised a normal cruise with a single girlfriend and there seemed to be no single men or very very few on our ship. I have done mostly singles cruises though I didn't mind cruising solo it is nice to have a group of other singles on board.
