Which cruiselines give a discount or OBC when you book onboard?

On Celebrity when your on board you can give a $100 deposit for an open cruising(you don't need to specify when or where). In exchange when you book later they will use the $100 as deposit and give you OBC depending on the length of sailing. For instance with a 14day sailing you get the $100 back and $300 credit.

Which cruiselines do this?

Specifically would like to know about Holland but interested if this is done everywhere and what benefits you get.

Interesting, I see the amounts vary greatly. Celebrity's deposit never expires while Carnival said it lasts 2 years when I did that one.

Princess's expire after 4 years, but you get your money back if you don't use them. I believe HAL's are non refundable.

OK but does anyone know what they offer as a bonus? I'm looking to book a long cruise, if the benefit is good it might pay for itself to go on a short one beforehand and get the bonus.

That is the Onboard credit bonus above. They cost $100 which acts as your deposit and then the OBC is dependent on the length of cruise and the type of cabin. So if I book a 16 day cruise in a balcony, we receive $150 each on board credit if we use a FCC each
