Last chance

I was just looking at the Celebertys web page and noticed that April is the last month that Celeberty cruises to the Caribbean.Is this the end of the cruise season for the Caribbean and is April as good as any other month to go?

It does appear to be the end of Caribbean cruise season for some lines. I know Princess is also done in April and doesn't start back up until October.

A few years ago I sailed out of NY to the Caribbean on a 9 day cruise and I thought it was great. We had nice weather the entire cruise and the water was plenty warm enough. I would definitely go in April again.

A number of cruise lines have found that Europe is a great place. Europe has a large number of people who want to cruise and Americans who want something more than the Caribbean.

The downside is that airfare is up this year and more expensive to fly to Europe than it was last year when a lot of people complained about the high cost to get there. Then again, the cruise prices are pretty good so that offsets some of the airfare costs.

If you also notice Millennium will not be back in the Caribbean doing its four and five day runs. It will be in Asia and I'll be on her!!!!
