Yes, I have been following this since it happened. We are scheduled to head to Bermuda on the Star on Oct. 13.

It's hard to believe that those huge lines they use to moor the ships could break like that, but then that is a lot of mass they are holding.

Hope we have a storm free journey.

I just saw this..and wow...My daughter was there on the Dawn last month,and really enjoyed the trip..I wish you the same.

Yes, there was some damage to the Star. I saw a photo somewhere. It wasn't bad and they have stated that the damage does not interfere with operations.

Ok, I hate to say that I chuckled a little at this video but i did. What idiot was steering this boat??? Someone was asleep at THAT wheel...lol Really looked pretty harmless..Kind of like the boats kissed a little - perhaps like a boating "fender bender." I had to laugh at Trips "license and registration plz"...I could just see a cop pulling up and asking the captain for that...

I believe no one was at the wheel and that a line broke on the Norwegian Star and she drifted into Voyager of the Seas. The winds were almost 70 knots at the time. The crew of the Norwegian Star took control right away and prevented far more damage.

Mike I've only witnessed a microburst once,and wow...Could have been more serious.

In this day and age of cell phones, nothing escapes our view. This is one collision I remember seeing online. Youtube, has a slew.

Bet Lawyers have a love hate relationship with this technology.
