Default Canadian polymer currency

Awhile back Canada was testing and using polymer based currency. Initial negative reports that I heard was that the bills stuck together, they smelled funny and they were not user-friendly for blind persons. What is the situation with this currency?

I think they're fine now. Not testing anymore, I think all bills, $5, $10, $20 + are all now polymer. The UK is apparently going the same way.

All our bills are polymer now you may get some of the older ones still but they are phasing them out
I must check but I think they do have Braile on the corners of the bills

Just be sure you give them a flip to make sure they are not stuck to each other

Interesting comment about flipping. Thanks for info from one and all. I will bet US starts testing them but I will bet that there is going to be a lot of resistance because Americans love that feel.

Are the old (paper) bills still accepted? I will be cruising in Canada in September and have paper currency. I am assuming coins have not changed.

Thanks
