Customs???

We will be taking Ocean Princess 5/4/02 from San Francisco to Vancouver. Then we will continue on the Inside Passage, same cabin & same ship on 5/6/02 for 6 nights. My question is: When I board Ocean in San Fran, obviously I will not have to go thru customs being a US citizen. However, when we arrive in Vancouver at 10AM we would like to get off the ship and see a bit of Vancouver. Is it easy to get off the ship and go thru Canadian Customs and then get back on board Ocean before she sails later in the afternoon??? And also, when we arrive in Vancouver, do I have to do anything special because we are continuing on the ship thru the Inside Passage? Go to the purser's desk, etc...??? Thank You for any help. Hi Sue,
When we did back to back it was in the Caribbean, but I would imagine the process is similar.
At then end of week 1 we simply went to the Purser's desk to check in for week 2.

I don't think u'll have any problem getting off the ship to spend the day in Vancouver. We Canadians try to make it easy for u US folks to spend your money here <G>
Sure u will have to clear customs, but shouldnt be a difficult task with no luggage.
