I booked for December 2003 to lock in a low rate. I really had no trouble booking but customer service could use some upgrade. I called to make sure they had recv'd the deposit and it took them ten minutes to look it up and let me know something. Also wish they would send some type of e-mail response to verify the reservation. Guess I'll just hold the cancelled check and use it if I have a problem later. Rates really are wonderful though.
Erin, that won't do you much good. Call them again and get your booking number, then check with the cruiseline to make sure you actually have a reservation. Also check and see if your check has been cancelled by the agency or the cruiseline. It's supposed to be the cruiseline.
Erin, I would definately do what Carole suggested. I booked thru an online service to and within minutes I had my email reservation information. Maybe something happened that it didn't go thru and you would not know until possibly to late.

I did call them back right after I posted. they were very helpful, (i guess it depends on who you talk to). I should be receiving (by mail), the confirmation letter with sail dates and booking ID. thanks for the advice.
