Royal Carribean X ray policy...
Do you know if the X-ray machines are low level, and if they affect fast film 800 speed film.
Can you have your camera equipment, or dispoble camera hand inspected when I re-board my RCI ship in ports? |
Re: Royal Carribean X ray policy...
I have been thru these machines and it did not affect my film. I never thought about asking to have those hand inspected but then again, no problems with my film so it was not a concern.

I've never had a problem with the Xray scans, but I always use a lead foil bag to carry film (you may have to open it for hand inspection). It's also a good idea to protect any video tapes and cassettes you're carrying. Be careful about exposing high speed film to high temperatures as well. Professional film is especially sensitive to heat.
p.s. What's up with our countdown clocks? It seems the site that provides them is off by a few days. Oh well, that gives me more time to pack for tomorrow's departure, I guess. :) Post Edited (11-22-02 11:49) |
