Default Payment options?

I have a Carnival Capital One Mastercard which only allows me to charge Carnival Cruises on it. I've done 3 of them and want to now try another cruiseline.

Anybody know if any other cruiselines that offer payment options instead of the total due by 70 days prior? Or a TA that allows payments to be made over a year or two? I want to go on a cruise in Feb 2005 but I want to go on something other then Carnival this time to see how the other cruiselines are.

I have been told that if I wanted to make several payments over a span to have full payment by 70 days prior I can. Otherwise open a seperate savings account and build it up during the time so when final payment is due you have it. That's what I am doing for the spending money. That way I can't get to it too easily.

We book our cruise at least a year in advance, and send payments to our TA. They keep it on their house account until final payment. It works great

If you have payroll deduction offered on your job you can set up a vacation account at your bank and have a set amount deducted from your paycheck to put into this account. A least it is gaining interest (albeit little) while it's accumulating.

We booked ours with Sears and they dont put it on our credit card till we come back from our trip. Then it is payments just like any other cc.
