Maybe you should pre medicate with Ibuprofen or such before arriving. Hope this helps. Sorry to hear of your issue

Did you try sudafed? Maybe it's an allergy. My allergies seem to kick in when visiting different locales with new pollens, etc.
Just a thought.

if it happens every time you visit Nassau then i would agree that there is some sort of allergen on that island that is effecting you ( could be a local flower or something) Do a combination of sudafed & ibuprofen at the first sign of pain - don't wait it will only get worse.

Is visiting Nassau like banging your head against the wall for you?? You like it because it feels better when its over?

I went on Sovereign about 3 years ago and also had one of the worst headaches of my life. Did not get to go to Atlantis because of it. At the time I just thought it was one of my "headaches" that I get. Maybe not. My husband and I also have noticed that we both get dull headaches on every cruise we take but they do go away. We were told that this is a form of motion sickness. Who knows???? I'm not going to let that stop me. Still looking for that great deal on a 4th cruise.

You might have a sun allergy or maybe take medication that cautions of effects of the sun. Maybe because it is so much more intense down there that you aren't aware of the problem at home?
