Documents: When should I panic?

My wife and I booked through Expedia on Carnival Sensation for the trip departing 1/20/05. Two weeks to go, and we have not received documents as of today (1/05/05) Since this is our first cruise, I don't know how long before departing we should expect the docs.

Thanks!

Re: Documents: When should I panic?

The "standard" is 10 -14 days prior to sailing. I've received some more than a month before sailing, as little as a day before sailing... and this past Nov. never received them at all.

If you have filled out your "fun pass" guest information online you can print that out, and with proper ID, you'll have no problem getting on the ship.

As long as you're on the manifest, you'll sail.

I would contact Expedia and see when the documents were sent out and how they were
sent. Maybe they can tell you the approximate date you can expect them if already sent out. Hope that helps.
