My wife and I want to take an Alaskan cruise this summer that leaves from Vancouver and terminates at Fairbanks. This apparently means we'll have to book two one-way airfares since we're not flying out of Vancouver on the way back. Airfare from Fairbanks to Philadelphia is going to cost us close to $800 each. Do you know of any way to configure the return trip so it's less costly?
You might want to check with the cruiseline for airfare for this trip. Usually air is higher through the cruiselines. I have found though that open jaw air is usually cheaper with the cruiselines. Good luck.
