Default Pools on Infinity

Hi Everyone,

Can you tell me about the pools on Infinity? More specifically, we'll be going to Alaska in August. Can you swim then or are the pools on that ship on a lower deck? Sorry if this seems dumb, but we're going with the kids, who keep asking about the pool!

Hi Danne,
Yes, the pools will be open, also the hot tubs. We went later in the season and while we did have a day or two in the 70's it was cool, so just a few brave kids used the pools, but many did use the hot tubs. So, do pack a swim suit or two. We were also on Infinity in Alaska and it was wonderful!

Okay, so pack suits and hope for good weather!! (Of course what I think is warm and what the kids think is two completely different things!)

Donna-did you take kids on your trip? Ideas and information regarding that would be appreciated. We are taking our ten year old daughter and eight year old son.

You will find that the kids will use the pool in almost any temps, but, they can also use the thelasotherapy pool which is basically a large enclosed and heated pool anyway. Accompany them and keep the running around to a minimum and no one will chase them away.

The T-Pool is reserved for adults age 18 and over.

I've sailed Summit twice (including to Alaska last Sept.) No one was chasing well behaved kids out of the T-pool and there were several. Hot tubs are for adults as well and I have only seen one person ask kids to leave one time .

I've also sailed on the Summit to Alaska (and will do so again this May) and also the Mille in the Med. There are always those people that like to ignore the rules, doesn't matter if their children are well behaved. The next ones may not be so well behaved. If I see children in the T-pool I will gently remind their parents that they are reserved for adults. It's really too bad that guests have to ask these rude people to please adhere to the rules. I have grandchildren that I would not allow in the T-Pool.....and they are the probably the best behaved children I know.
