Default POC Charleston

Is Carnival the only line that leaves out of Charleston and are the May & October trips on the Triumph or Celebration (?) the only ships?

Thank you

I can tell you that I have seen other cruise ships at port in Charleston, S.C., during trips there to enjoy the city. The wife and I are booked on the October sailing from there. Come and join us on the trip. We choose it due to its location. We live in Myrtle Beach.

Carnival and Norwegian are the only two major lines that take on passengers in Charleston. A lot of other lines , large and small make Charleston a regular port of call, ie. Royal Caribbean, HAL, Hanseatic.

Yesterday I was checking the Port Schedule for next year and it looks like the Carnival Victory will be taking the place of the Triumph for the May and Oct. sailings.

Hope this helps answer your question.

About a year ago, in February, we were in Charleston and there was a ship docked there that day. Is was not a Carnival ship - but I can't remember which one it was. I know it was a doing a Western Caribbean trip.

Of course, that may have all changed by now.
