birth certificate

My husband's birth certificate name does not match his ticket name, as his parents changed the last name when he was 3 years old. Now that he is 50 how do we prove that he is the person on the ticket. He has a D/L with corrected name but birth certificate needs correction. We are leaving on 8-1 for our cruise. Please help

Hi Jannie,
I would check into getting him and yourself a passport, if you apply now, you should have them in time for your cruise...there is also a faster way of getting them, but you should have enough time...I'm not sure how that would work with a name change and going with the birth certificate he has..

Get passports and ask the State Department how to deal with the name change issue.
