Default advice on balcony "stateroom guarantee" Radiance c

We are thinking about changing our booking to a "balcony stateroom guarantee" which is a higher category than we have now for about the same price. Mostly want to know if there are any "bad" balcony cabins on Radiance class ships that we need to know about. Also, how do they decide which cabin to give you?

p.s I read Kuki's article so I understand the gamble.

First off.. glad you read my article. Good someone reads this stuff

I really don't think there's a bad balcony cabin on those ships. And they are beautiful ships. I'm going on Radiance next month!

How they decide which cabins is anyone's guess 8) But.. booking a guarantee they can put you anywhere. If there is a huge demand for the lower category balcony cabins, you COULD get upgraded, but don't count on it happening.

Thanks, Kuki. We did change our booking yesterday. Today, the offer is gone, so we are glad you replied so quickly. Speaking of your feature articles, we also found your Priceline article to be very helpful - the information saved us a lot of money, both on our pre-cruise hotel room and a 4* hotel in Toronto for a winter getaway. Sorry we won't meet on the Radiance!
