you are not wrong here, your TA is giving you the run around. Do not e-mail. Call the office directly, speak to him, if he isn't available, or doesn't give you any satisfaction, then go over his head to the agency manager.
Without the air deviation your TA is most likely correct about the flight times. You can absoutley get the air deviation especially since you are willing to pay for it.
I would suggest going to your TA's office and have him/her call and set up the air deviation with you sitting right there in front of him/her. Make sure you get appropriate flight numbers to coincide at the same time. If the flights you are looking at are totally booked, then that could be a problem.

Did you ask specifically ask him if he requested a diviation? I think at this point, you need to express your dissatisfaction with his lack of attention. If he still isnt attentive, then I would make it clear that this is the last time he will get any of your business. There are many good TAs out there who will go out of their way to help you.

AFTER E-MAILING FOR OVER 9 HRS, AND FINALLY, I HAD A NOT SO PRETTY MELT-DOWN, ( WHICH IS NOT MY PERSONALITY AT ALL), SOMEHOW A FLIGHT WAS FOUND ARRIVING IN VANCOUVER AT THE SAME EXACT TIME WE HAD PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED. glad to hear that you were able to get it resolved. Amazing how those flights just managed to appear I would definatley report your dissatisfaction to his manager. You shouldn't have to have a "meltdown" to get what you wanted in the first place.
