Default need advice. any cruise line have sinks in laundry room??

I have asked this in the Celebrity area but now I will ask for ANY cruise line.
I'm with a small group of ladies who do a cloth craft and we'd like to do somewhile onboard but need the material to soak in hot water. Can be messy so the bathroom sinks are definitely no good.

So, are there any cruise lines that have a sink in the laundry rooms?

Tracey, I am lost. If it makes a mess in the sink, what difference does it make if you use the bathroom sink or the laundry room sink; you have to clean the sink no matter what.

OR, were you planning on leaving the laundry room sink a mess so that the next person would not have a clean sink OR were you going to make some Stewardess clean up your mess?

Use your own sink and clean up after yourself.

Hi tracey12,

I've never seen a laundry sink in any of the laundromats onboard the ship's we've sailed . Maybe if you explain what you're doing to someone at the Purser's desk they could help you.

I think I DO understand your question !

You ARE lost ! I think Tracey is just talking about soaking material in hot water, not about making a huge mess! A laundry sink would be much larger than the bathroom sink, therefore, NOT making a mess with water everywhere for anyone to clean up!

Thank you Fern!!
Yes yo are right, it's material that has to be soaked and kind of rinsed around, so a deep tub would be easier.

No Marc, I would not leave a mess for the Stewards to clean!

On the Carnival ships that I have been on that I have used the laundry room, they all had sinks. There may not be sinks in all laundry rooms, but they are in some.

Sorry, I can't remember which ships, but I am for sure the Spirit had one, I knocked my drink off into it off the ironing board.

I've never seen a sink in any laundry room onboard either.

tracey - if the ships did have sinks in the laundry room,(which i do not recall them having) they, like the laundry room are in high demand, and i don't think that the other passengers who might just want to rinse out something would appreciate your having a craft project soaking in the sink. Your best bet would be to contact Customer Service tell them that you are an official craft group and could they somehow accomodate your needs.

The Junior Suites and above on RCCL's Voyager Class ships have bathtubs - that would probably work.

Default re: sinks

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I have spoken to a couple of people at different cruise lines who say they will find out for me.
We'll see.

Tracey 12 - now you have got me really curious - what do you do with the cloth once you have soaked it. Just being nosey but it sounds like it might be interesting.

You could also take a small inflatable kids wading pool - would that work?
