Default Is it as easy

to get to St. John's Island when you stop at St. Thomas as it seems. I've read that you take a cab to the Red Hook Pier and then the ferry and a cab to the beach of your choice. Any info on costs for this?

it is actually very easy, its just takes some planning of your time.
I think the cab fare from Havensight to Red Hook Harbor was like $8.00 per person one-way. Buy your round-trip ferry ticket at Red Hook Harbor.
Depending upon the traffic on St.Thomas figure in at least a half-hour to get from the cruise ship pier to Red Hook harbor. The ferry leaves every hour on the hour, and they don't wait for stragglers.
