We are taking two grandchildren on the Sky. I'm sure that they would rather the buffett in leiu of the dining rooms.
In checking the NCL site, I cannot figure out if there is an evening buffett.
Can you help?

Yes; there will be an evening buffet available. It will be open around 5:30 p.m.

There is also a children's program where they will take care of them night & day. They will take them through the dinner hours, but they only feed them dinner (in the buffet) once per cruise. They do try to give them snacks throughout the day, however, in case the parents do not pick them up for dinner. Kid's programs run continuously until 10:30 pm.
I suggest you check with the children's area to see what is available when you get onboard. The buffet area is open for casual dinners and you can feed your kids and then take them back to the kids program and go eat yourself.
The program is free all day on sea days, I believe there is an hourly charge on port days. Here is a very recent article on the NCL kids program.
I don't know about the Sky, but NCL Dawn had a children's buffet. It was very cute....like a down sized mini-buffet. Lots of kid food, like mac and cheese, hot dogs, jello, etc. Parents were allowed to sit with the kids, 'tho the tables and chairs were mini sized also. The only problem was that my hubby wanted to eat there! I told him he needed to find a kid to get in.
