Default Passport or Visa?

I've read that Alaska cruisers are often in trouble because of Visa issues. Do we need to obtain a Visa to go along with our Passport when we embark in Vancouver? Thanks for your help.

If you are a U.S. citizen you do not need a visa to enter Canada. You will need the passport.

Take care,
Mike

A new regulation came into affect this year . People from certain countries
now need a visa to enter the country.

The OP posted from a U.S. IP address so I believe they are U.S.

If someone is from another country they should check to see if they need a visa:

Here is a link to a list of countries that require a visa to enter Canada:

Take care,
Mike
