Default Serenade of the Seas Balconies

Do you know if the Serenade of the Seas balconies can be opened up to make adjoining balconies? We were on Independence and had a nice area for our group of 7 cabins to gather.

My mother was on the Serensade OTS last July when it was doing Alaska cruises. She had a cabin on Deck 7 aft, 74XX. The balcony was a not a private balcony because the divider was only 50% of the width of the balcony. That meant that anyone standing anywhere on their balcony edge could look and see right to the door of your balcony. It was an extended balcony and if you were standing at the balcony edge everyone else who was on their balcony could see you and you them. No privacy at all. They also had a obstructed view of the water as the lifeboat moorings were visible at the base of their balcony, so no view of the water.

I have a picture I looked at and asked my mother and this is how it is for Deck 7....
