Land Tours

We are cruising with Princess Grand in March 04 and our 17 year old is traveling with use. 2 Land tours that we thought we would try are, Stingray Sand Bar at Grand Cayman and the National Park and Dolphins in Cozumel. First up, is it better to reserve with the Cruise Line or wait until arrival and fend for yourself, we are 1st timers.

I have read alot about Sotos in the Caymans....Also is there a difference in the service between the Cruise arranged and a tour that you set up yourself...assuming that you set up a reputable firm. My wife is a non swimmer so we need to stay out of the deep water so we need to take that into acount. Any guidance on this is appreciated.

Thanks
Chappy

Re: Land Tours

Chappy, you definatley need to pre-book your Dolphin tours on Cozumel they sell-out very fast. go to www.dolphindiscovery.com. Same goes for StingRay tours in Caymen book with an independant tour operator like Captain Marvin, Captain Brian, Nativeway - all have web sites, these also fill-up really fast. Both are great choices.
