Default trouble contacting Sotos cruises

HI everyone,

I reserved an excursion with Sotos cruises about 4 days ago and I haven't received a confirmation yet. I emailed them today again, but no response. Anyone else having this problem or am I just being to impatient?? I reserved all of my four excursions for our cruise on the same day and I have received at least one response from everyone else. Any suggestions???
Christina

They probably do not have power yet.

I saw a picture of the shop and it was damaged pretty badly. I read that power would not be restored for about 3 weeks, non-essential people were being evacuated to Cayman Brac and phone service was sporadic (cell phones on the island were working though). When is your cruise? If it is before the end of the year, chances are you wont be going there anyways, as reports say the port is closed indefinitely. Dont be surpised if you do get to go, that the reefs are damaged as well. Past storms have broken up some reefs, and turned wrecks over or broken them in half. So damaged isnt limited to the topside. Check out www.davidolson.com (think thats it-saw it on here somewhere) for lots of pictures of the island after Ivan.

They have been devasted in this area. At this point it is basic survival. Who knows if they have a way to even get back to you at this time. I would plan on giving them a month or so to get back to you. If you don't hear by then, try again. Perhaps they will post something on their home page. I made our reservations months ago for December. We will wait for further information from Soto or we will just wait and see.

Unfortunately I don't have a month or so to wait. We leave 1 month exactly from tomorrow on our honeymoon. I guess we may not even stop in Grand Cayman if it is still that bad. Guess I will wait and see. Thanks everyone for the input.
