We did this excursion on our last cruise. It was GREAT!!!! We did 3 stops, the first at the sandbar, then the reef and the deeper SR City. There was a young man onboard who took a video of our excursion and we bought the DVD. It is great! The timing was perfect for us. It gave us enough time to get off the ship at our leisure, and we had time after the excursion to grab a lunch on shore. I would book them again in a heartbeat!

Michelle,
We are cruising on the Mariner this June and would like to go to SR City. What is the difference between Sotos Cruises Tour and the Bucaneer Catamaran Tour? Also, what is the "deeper SR City" . We will have a 16 year old and a 10 year old with us. Will the 10 year like it? Did you feed the string rays? Thanks for you help,
Laura

Laura, I don't know the differences between the two. I chose Buccaneer because it was a catamaran and it had times that were perfect for us.

The "deeper" Stingray City, (I think that is what it is called.) is away from the sandbar. It is in water that is maybe 8 - 10 feet deep.

The kids will LOVE it! At the sandbar, we got to feed the rays, hold and kiss them, and even got a stingray massage!
