Default ANYONE CRUISE THE E. CARIBBEAN ON SITMAR'S FAIRWIND IN 1974?

Hi!

Here's a blast-from-the-past question and I don't know if anyone out there can even answer it.

My husband and I sailed the Caribbean on Sitmar's Fairwind (gorgeous ship, great crew) in November of 1974. I just bought a copy of the brochure from that cruise season from New Steamship Consultants in Mesa, Arizona and the order of ports visited that is shown there is different than I remember it.

I have lost/misplaced my memorabilia from that cruise in various moves since then but I'm currently reorganizing old photos from that cruise. I'd like to get the ports in the order that we visited them, if possible.

I remember visiting:
San Juan
Santo Domingo
Port-Au-Prince and finally
Charlotte Amalie

The brochure lists:
San Juan
Charlotte Amalie
Santo Domingo and finally
Port-Au-Prince

The order in the brochure makes more sense if you look at a map. I know my short term memory is not great anymore, but I sure thought my long term was still good.

If anyone can help out, I'll be TOTALLY amazed and most grateful.

Thanks!
Lesley

Hi "Traveled"

Thanks so much for responding to my query.

It was the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo was the port) AND Haiti (Port-Au-Prince was the port) as I have photos of both places. We sailed on the Fairwind in November of 1974 and loved it!

Thanks again,
Lesley
