Jamican Army

Just read where the Army has been called to support the police in Jamaica.
With all the violence that is taking place this year, how long before it gets to the point that the ships bypass Jamaica?

I haven't heard anything about more violence, sure hope they can get it under control, not good for tourists or the locals. I've never been a big fan of Jamaica for that reason, otherwise, its beautiful country.

Jamaica is an endangered port for the major cruise lines. In Ocho Rios I go as far as Island Village, and in Mo Bay as far as Margaritaville.
