Default Carnival - Deep water dolphin activity

I was wondering if anyone has gone on this and whether is worth it. I just love dolphins and I think it would be interesting.

Now, can this been done separately from Atlantis?

Also, I know Atlantis is rather pricey and our child is too young to take advantage of the water facilities (6 month old). My parents are coming with us so they could look after the baby whilst we go and swim with the dolphins but would Atlantis as a whole be suitable for a family of 5, myself and my husband, my parents and a baby? Or would it be better just to do something else?

Any ideas most appreciated.

I wouldn't skip Atlantis, you can all take the tour, its really something to see. You should still have time for the dolphin thing and look around, great for families.

Thanks so much. Incidentally, someone has post lots and lots of pictures of Atlantis the actual hotel, casino etc in another forum and yes, it very much sounds like something my parents would love to see. There are shops and other facilities indoors also that they can use if it gets too hot for the little one.

Definitely sounds like a plan. I'll see what tickets they are and what facilities they cover. We're unlikely to use the aquapark facility for instance, which would probably be more geared towards older children and teenagers.

Hi Ri,
Its very expensive to be able to use the waterparks in Atlantis, unless you are a guest there. They did for awhile offer day passes, but again, lots of $. The tour should work for you and your family and yes, you can be inside, use casino, eat in the restaurant, etc.

Thanks, yes, the tour is all we need. Do we need to buy tickets for this and if so, how do I do that? I have been to their webside but all they seem to sell there is hotel rooms. It would not be worth it for us to book a room since we are on a cruise and we are not particularly interested in the waterpark or the beaches etc. We have a 6 month old baby so he's too young. We are a party of 5 including the little one, DH, my parents and myself.

The cruiseline sells tickets for the tour. You can also just go there and purchase the tour, amazing aquarium.

Thanks that's great. The aquarium should be good for all the family and in the shade!
