Tampa Parking

My husband and I are booked on the Jubilee next March. Can anyone tell me about the parking situation in Tampa. Specifically, I am interested in availability, security and cost. We are close enough that we can save money and drive. Thanks.

When I sailed out of Tampa last year, they were nearing completion on the construction of a brand new parking garage right across from the terminal. I imagine its open by now. We had to park in a lot a few blocks away and then Carnival provided free shuttles from the parking lot to the terminal. Best I remember, parking was $10 per day then.

The new parking garage is open and they charge $10 per day paid in advance CASH. They will direct you to the level they wish you to park on. We had no problems with the location and security.
