We will be on the Spirit when she changes itineraries in December, I'd love to hear more about her too!

We were on the Spirit last October (and are booked to go again this October to Acapulco).

It was the most oppulent ship we've ever been on (10 cruises for me in the past 3 years). The balcony cabins had SO much storage -- most I've ever seen. And the cabin decor (thank God) does not have Pepto Bismal Pink decor.

I loved the buffet setup with all the different choices (Asian, American, deli, pizza and one that rotated daily)

Shows were first class, as normal.

But the decor is just incredible ... read about it in the book that will be in your cabin.

Only complaint -- pools were COLD (I don't think heated).

Hope that helps. Look in the photo gallery around Oct. 2002 and you will see a post Harry and Art on Spirit or something like that.

Harry,
Since you have been on the spirit...did you get to see inside any of the Cat. 11 suites? We have a cat. 11 aft with the wrap balcony & I can't wait. Just curious about them?
The pictures I have seen of the ship, it looks just beautiful.

I will be in cabin 5214 on 10/06/03. I can already picture myself, in the morning siting on the balcony with my first cup of coffee, gazing out on the water, without a care in the world.

Carol,

I'm with you, put my bathrobe on, sip coffee & watch as we pull into port...ahhhh I can see it now.
Maybe have a day at the spa.

Wish we were there now.

Hi to Dani and lifeiscruising!!
We will be going on the spirit Oct. 6th as well, and we have cabin 4237, cat 11, wraparound balcony. We had cabin 7347 in april and loved it. The cabin is kinda different....3 separate rooms....a long hallway to a very small living room. Then a nice size bedroom with a separate tv, and small little makeup/vanity room, and then a large bathroom with I think 2 sinks and a jacuzzi tub and shower. If you look at the brochure, all of the aft cat 11, are a little different, and when we looked at the ship from shore, some of the cabins had a window in what I think was the bedroom and some did not. The ship is beautiful and you will have a great time!
