My TA said that we were getting an on-board credit since our cruise price was lowered and we didn't want the offered upgrade. I used an on-line TA and the offer was conveyed to me by phone. Should I get this in writing? Has anyone ever had trouble getting an on-board credit that they were told that they were getting?
BTW- I would have never known to ask for the credit if I hadn't found this forum! Thanks all!
We went through an on line travel agent also, and we too were given an on board credit. It will show on your documents when you get them how much credit you have been given. You can ask your travel agent to e-mail you a confirmation just in case there is any question when your documents arrive.
Yes, your TA can get an on-board cabin credit for you after final payment. I would suggest that you get a printed email or note of some sort from the TA with the exact information, just in case. Bring it with you. We had no problems at all and there were over 30 cabins that had credits in my TA's group. Everyone was very happy that I had brought the lower rate to our TA's attention.
