Default Video Cameras

Are you allowed to take video cameras on board and can you shoot video anywhere on the ship or are there certain places where video cameras are not allowed.

Last cruise I went on, they did not allow any video taping of the gift store and the casino.

You can take video cameras on board but are not allowed to film the shows or casinos.

Oh, and you cannot film your pictures in the photo gallery. I was taking film of our pictures on the wall and was told I was not allowed to take pictures of my pictures. Go figure, huh?

Thomas

I took my video camera all over the ship on the Triumph in Feb when we went.
We took video of all the ship pretty much.
The only place I found there to be NO video taping was the very top deck (topless deck) which made total sense to me!

I think others have covered it. No video filming in the Casino, of the shows, and of the topless deck. I haven't heard about the photo gallery filming though. <G> Mrs Robo and I did however see a couple onboard I believe it was the Radiance of the Seas taking photos of their photos! Close-ups no less! Yes we thought it pretty cheap but had to laugh at their ingenuity! <VBG>

Be careful if you walk from the air conditioning outside-- the lens will usually fog up!
