Elation Vs Conquest

My husband and I are plaining on taking a cruise in Oct of next year. At first we were looking at the Elation since we are in Dallas, we thought it would be the easiest to get to. I have done alot of research and have found that the Elation has had some problems at times. He looked at the port of calls for the Conquest and like what he saw. So now I'm torn between taking te Elation or the Conquest. This will be our first cruise and we are celebrating his birthday. Which ship will give us the best.

Hello. We just returned from the Elation and It was our first cruise. I must say The Ship is BEAUTIFUL and i truly loved ever minute ( well, except for my first sea sickness) but that was my fault. They gave me some pills and it was better fast. The casino is lots of fun and so are the shore tours. We loved the trip to Chechen Itsa (the Mayan ruins) and the Paridise Island. The kayaking was boring because there were no animals or flowers to see. The Cruise Director "Simon Pendergast" is awsome. We loved the show the dancers did but the Bingo was expensive. My husband and I sailed on the Conquest in June. We enjoyed every minute of it. The ship is huge and very beautiful. The ports of call were great and very much fun. We are sailing on the Elation next November, we have heard alot of good things about her.

I would bet you can't go wrong with either one of them. Cruising is the BEST no matter what ship you are on.
