Default Sailing Closed or ship in wet/dry dock - what does this mean

We are sailing on the Sensation 1/15 and booked a guar. room. It is still listed as such on our docs. Are reading hear that some people were saying that the ships weren't being filled because of after the holiday I went on several websites, including Carnivals to see how many rooms were available. On each of the websites, I am getting the above message. Do they stop taking bookings this far in advance? or might the ship be booked?

Any thoughts would be great!

They usually take booking as far in advance as 18 months. Some sailings do sell out early, some sailings are omitted due to scheduled maintance of the ship or refurbishing, and some are chartered. Why you are getting the message is anyones guess. Best thing is to call Carnival or your agent directly and ask.
